In December, 2002, Dodie Ulery was presented with the 2002 Silver ADDY Award for the outstanding cover image for 2002.                    Dodie is a 1998 Graduate of the New York Institute of Photography as well as a participant in the Canon Photography Masters Program, 1994-95.  Her  images have appeared in NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, BIRD TALK, ORLANDO SENTINEL NEWSPAPER, AHS CALENDAR 2000 AND 2001, AMERICAN PEN WOMAN MAGAZINE, FLORIDA GARDENER, GULF SHORE LIFE MAGAZINE, ARTS AND SCIENCES MAGAZINE, PAN GAIA MAGAZINE, GRIT MAGAZINE, BIOLOGY-UNDERSTANDING LIFE, DAYTONA SUN TIMES, CHILDHOOD 1892-2002, AUDUBON SOCIETY publications and websites, NAEYC sites, NATIONAL WILDLIFE FEDERATION publications and websites, WOMEN IN AMERICAN RELIGION as well as cover images for FLORIDA GARDENING MAGAZINE, BIRD TIMES MAGAZINE ,  SUNTIMES MAGAZINE, GRIT MAGAZINE and CHILDHOOD EDUCATION INTERNATIONAL MAGAZINE.   Her images are sold on this site as well as in many art galleries throughout Florida, including Orlando Museum of Art and Artistic Hand in Oveido, Maitland Art Center in Maitland, Museum of Florida Art in Deland and Cummer Museum in Jacksonville.  For additional biographical information click on  "Bio".

Dodie is an award winning artist and a fine craft basket maker.  Her exquisitely crafted pine needle baskets are sold in art galleries throughout Florida including Museum of Art in Orlandi, Artistic Hand in Oveido, Museum of Florida Art in Deland, Paddywack Gallery in Gainesville, Maitland Art Center in Maitland.
